Windows desktop themes
Windows desktop themes are enhanced by ROOMS which creates 3D icons with shape and
behavior in the themed 3D space which was once mere 2D desktop.
ROOMS 3D icons have properties which can contribute to your desktop themes.
These properties control shape and behavior and file association.
Properties can be stored independently of any icon as an "Icon Type" (a bit like
a template). A ROOMS icon may then acquire properties from an Icon Type
which was created earlier or elsewhere.
A set of Icon Types (describing properties for various different kinds of icon)
defines a theme for a ROOMS world.
A set of Icon Types can be associated with a world and icons will automatically
adopt shape and behavior from their matching Icon Type when dragged and dropped
into the world.
So ROOMS replaces and enhances the roles which are otherwise
performed by wallpaper and icons.
